Assessment of Life Habits (LIFE-H)

The Assessment of Life Habits (LIFE-H) has been developed to evaluate the many aspects of people with disabilities social participation, and that, without regard to any subjacent impairments. The LIFE-H is based upon DCP and provide information about the accomplishment of life habits: these are defined as common activities and social roles valued by people with disabilities and their sociocultural environment according to their personal characteristics (age, sex, sociocultural identity, etc.) (Fougeyrollas et al., 1998). Life habits comprised everyday life activities (to go and go out of bed, to take a meal, etc.) and other activities realized on a regular or irregular basis (to go shopping, to do a budget, educate their children, etc.). The LIFE-H has been developed upon DCP nomenclature which comprised 12 life habits categories.
