INDCP

Organization

INDCP is an organism that has the objective to develop and disseminate knowledge centered on social change and optimum social participation of people with disabilities.

The INDCP has two charters, one, at the provincial level, for the International Network on the Disability Creation Process, and another one, at the federal level, for the Canadian Society for the ICIDH.

His members represent organizations from the disability movement, state-sponsored rehabilitation networks, state social insurance agencies, governmental bodies and social research organizations.

Moreover, INDCP is attentive to cover the various groups of ages, including the frail elderly persons. It also favours a cross-disability» approach that comprises all impairments and disabilities types, and including «intellectual disability» and «mental health».

Thanks to the recurrent financing of its facilities by Office des Personnes Handicapées du Québec (OPHQ), through the Support Program for voluntary organizations, RIPPH maintains a permanent working team and has been able to pursue core activities such as training and dissemination of knowledge.

The INDCP is currently a member of Rehabilitation International (since 2009) .
